Our Policies

Appointments

Our clinic operates via scheduled appointments.  To ensure the safety of your pet and others (both inside the clinic and outside our busy location), all animals visiting the clinic must be on a leash or in a carrier.

If you are unable to attend your appointment please call us to cancel so we may make that time slot available to another client.

We make every effort to run on time in the clinic however unexpected pet emergencies will be addressed with priority.

With prior arrangement, clients may drop-off their pet earlier than their scheduled appointment. One of our Animal Health Technicians (AHT) will take your animal’s history, settle them into day care and we’ll contact you once the veterinarian has completed their examination. Your pet can then be collected before the clinic closes.

Fees

We provide written estimates of clinic fees for various services based on our expectation of what may be required. This estimate is not a firm quote but is provided as a guide to the costs you may incur. We always seek your approval of each specific service or test prior to undertaking any diagnostics, treatment or prescription.

Payment is due in full at the time of treatment. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Debit and Bank-Certified cheques only.

Our Services

Refilling Prescription Drugs

We require 24 hours advance notice to refill prescriptions for your companion animal. Only our licensed veterinarians are approved to refill prescriptions. We review your pet’s file to confirm if a refill is appropriate and to determine when follow-up tests – such as blood tests – are recommended to identify necessary adjustments to medication levels or types.
